Getting help with the app
Email support@heyperi.app and tell us what happened. If something looks wrong in the app, a screenshot helps a lot. You will usually hear back within a couple of days.
Peri is made by a very small team, so replies come from a person, not a ticket system.
Common questions
Peri is not showing my sleep or steps
Peri reads sleep and activity from Apple Health, and it needs permission first. Open the Health app, go to Sharing, then Apps and Services, find Peri, and check that the categories you want are turned on. Sleep and step data can take a day to appear after you first connect, because Peri looks at patterns over time rather than a single night.
If your phone has not recorded any sleep, there is nothing for Peri to read. Sleep tracking usually comes from an Apple Watch or from another app writing into Apple Health.
My morning brief did not arrive
Briefs are sent as a notification at the time you picked. Check that notifications are turned on for Peri in your iPhone Settings. If you have not opened Peri in a while, briefs slow down to every few days, and they pick back up once you check in again.
How do I change when my brief arrives?
Open Peri, go to your profile, and change your check-in time. The next brief follows the new time.
How do I share something with my doctor or midwife?
The Report tab builds a summary you can save as a PDF and send on. Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it.
How do I delete my account and everything in it?
You can delete your account from inside Peri, in settings. Your data is removed right away, and any copies in our backups are purged within 30 days. If you cannot get into the app, email us and we will do it for you.
You can also ask for a copy of everything we have stored about you. Our privacy policy covers what we keep and why.
Can I turn off Apple Health access later?
Yes, any time, in the Health app under Sharing. Peri only ever reads from Apple Health. It never writes to it.
Is Peri a medical service?
No. Peri is a wellness tool. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it is not a replacement for care from a doctor, midwife, or therapist. If something in the app worries you, please bring it to your provider. If you are in crisis, use the numbers at the top of this page.
Who can see what I write in Peri?
Only you. No other user can reach your records. The privacy policy has the full detail.
Still stuck?
Email support@heyperi.app. Tell us what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. That is usually enough for us to work it out.
